‘Little brother’ added to the CFT500 LED post-top luminaire series
The intelligent combination of lighting technology and design of the CFT500 post-top luminaire series not only impresses the judges in renowned design competitions, but also designers and landscape architects down under. For example, Fogarty Park in Cairns, Australia, features scenic lighting provided by the luminaire series, which has already won three awards. The design, the implementation of which would not have been possible without LED technology, takes classic shapes and builds on them with a modern twist. Practical and timeless, the CFT500 fits perfectly into various environments.
With the CFT540, the WE-EF range had previously only included the large version of the luminaire series; now its ‘little brother’ the CFT530 is also available. With a recommended pole height of 3.0–4.5 m and a diameter of 532 mm, the CFT530 provides harmonious proportions for efficient, aesthetically sophisticated and low-key lighting for public parks, promenades and pedestrian zones as well as smaller outdoor areas.
The CFT530 series is available with connected wattages of 24 W (350 mA) and 48 W (700 mA), while the CFT540 provides wattages up to 108 W with a 1050 mA current feed. There are two LED lens systems available for the ring-shaped luminaire body – [C50] for symmetric, medium-beam and [R] for rectangular light distributions. The luminaires are available with LEDs in colour temperatures of 3000 K or 4000 K and are equipped with a 10 kV surge protection.
